One Minute More.

I awoke wishing to sleep a minute more today.
wanting to discover my happy ending.
I tried to fight it each and every way.

You see its the only time I find myself getting closer
to you; is when I close my eyes.
This is when my life with you is compose.

This is when I bring our world closer even
And shut the bullshit of this world.
and give me something to believe in.

This is the time I call to you and your there
Waiting with gentle smiles and warm kisses.
Forgetting my prison of my own despair.

So if I could sleep a minute longer
Knowing whats waiting for me there
I face the world with such strength
with you by my side I feel even stronger.

Hawaii's rare island jewel.

CRIKEY!!! ITS HUGE MATE!!!

Went surfing with my buddy this pass Sunday. The surf wasn't that good we had to wait for awhile till the sets roll in and as time passes the place started to look like a gridlock on H-1. Anyways, it was about 9am when my friend Russ pointed out air bubbles coming to the surface and from a distance we saw green sea turtles poping his head up and down. I kept an eye out for it so I can see where it pop it head out again. Where no one behold he swam in between my friend and I it was so close, I guess the measurement was at least about 3-4ft long and 2.5ft wide it was HUGE. I've never seen one that big before, I've seen one about foot long but never this big. He was just minding his own business and going his merry way, these creatures are so serene and gentle they would never hurt anyone thats the cool part about it. Later I was also told at times they can see seals swimming also, well rule of thumb when there are seals usually sharks will follow anyways in a nutshell, the turtle show made the day a lot more eventful.

SoulMates thru the eyes of people.

Have you ever wondered other people's stories, how they got to that age and what's there story behind their life? Well, I write this because, today went to the mall to grab some lunch and do some reading at Starbuck's afterward. Anyways, as I was heading out to the food court I noticed this senior citizen about the age of 67 or so, sitting at one of the benches all by herself. As I pass her by I gazed upon her face she gave a very peaceful and calming feature. I mean the wrinkles were there, but the wrinkles were of old age, no wrinkles of worries or pain, or even hurt. As, I walked pass by her, I thought to myself what's her story, what has gotten her to the point she is at now. This brought back memories of times when I was in Texas, I've worked with some senior citizens. Man, the stories they've told me, it was quite interesting to say the least, some were sad, happy, and scary. What gets me is that they can vividly recall every moment as if they were reliving that very story and you were there with them, very interesting. One that grabs me the most are the times when they spoke of their significant other, as they recall the story you can see it in their eyes how in love they were then and how they are in love with each other now. Some brag that they have been married for 50 years not counting the time they were courting one another. I asked them time and time again what was the secret in finding true love some commented or even sarcastically say having money, good looks, being tall(this coming from a man who stands 5'4). But all husbands and wives just plainly answered "you'll just know". Which leads me to a question that plagued me. Is there a soulmate? (defining: the ONE, the other that completes you, the one your meant to be with.) or are we just planned to wonder this planet aimlessly alone not knowing theres someone out there that is made for us? With this I end it with my mom plainly and simply quoting, "I love your father, because at times when I was weak, he was strong and visa versa." They've been married for 37 years now.

LighTs out.

Don't know why I'm making this early entry on my blog, but I slept very early last night. Due to the early power outage we experienced. Why is that when a power outage or blackouts occur people doesn't seem know what to do? Pretty much you can't watch TV, can't read a book, and can't do much really. Luckily I had my trusty walkman, listened to it all night long till I went to bed about 9pm, not sure when the power came back on. But I woke up about 2am went to use the restroom and went back to sleep and now I am doing this. Hmmm.....just wondering what people do during a blackout. Anyways, thats about it in a nutshell. My weary soul.

Well today was worth blogging. Today, started pretty good went out surfing caught a few good waves, stayed out for about 2 hours. Noticed not many people were out surfing its maybe because of box jellyfish warning, I enjoy these moments because it seems that its a lot more quieter than usual and you can hear the tranquil ocean, its so peaceful. After 2 hours of enjoying the ocean, I went home for abit then went out to go help my friend move his stuffs to his new place. About 40% of his stuffs were moved then we[CO, me, AM] decided to have dinner, sort of noticed my car was making weird noises, but from previous experiences I sort of knew what was wrong, didn't worry about it much [told myself I am going to worry about it after dinner]. During dinner we got in dept about religion and digging deep about our lives. Anyways, I knew what I was up against me and my faith with God. After, dinner I dropped my friends off to his car and told him I think my car wouldn't make the 2nd trip I deeply apologized to him. After I parked my car and my friend went on to continue moving without me, I called AR to come and take a look at my car, he arrived and he said my tensioner was broken and this caused to power steering belt to come loose. So, I called the towing company to tow my car, while I was waiting for 45minutes by myself sort of wondered to myself why stuff [crap] always happens to me?? You know, I try to be good, do good things, help others, and try to make the right decisions, still have this happen just kills my soul and faith. I don't doubt God at all, just that at times I wonder what was the worst things I've done in my life that I have to be punished these ways, I am sure others have done far worst than I have, but still. I thought to myself maybe its another life long lesson, I still don't know what it is, but still learning the hard way I suppose. So, I called 3 different towing company, decided on one that replied to me "God bless you." at the end of the phone conversation. I took this as a sign, so I decided on him. The irony of it all was that he showed up in a tow truck that was sort of rusty, car door that you have to REALLY!! slam hard to close, its just a tow truck that might need towing, but he managed to take the SUV home. In a nutshell, after the SUV breakdown it will chain reaction to the outcome on Monday, a lot of people are not going to be happy, [sigh] but still, I pray "Thank you Lord for just thinking about me, I'm alive and doing fine"

Your Sappy Movie Prowess.

OK, feeling a little bored so I am going to test you gals out there about your movie prowess. Going to list 10 movie quotes and see if you can answer most or all of it. Ready! Goodluck.

1) "What, you want me to name someone? You want like a name? Oh, God, the pressure of a name... I got it. Cindafuckin'rella."

2) "We live in a cynical world. A cynical world. And we work in a business of tough competitors. I love you. You... complete me."

3)"Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories... And we've already missed the spring!"

4) "Well, how long is your program? Well, it was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were suppose to be together... and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home... only to no home I'd ever known... I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like... magic."

5) "What I really want to do with my life - what I want to do for a living - is I want to be with your daughter. I'm good at it."

6) "I could die right now, Clem. I'm just... happy. I've never felt that before. I'm just exactly where I want to be."

7) "Are you staring at me or her? 'Cause you're starting to freak me out."

8) "You know how someone's appearance can change the moment you know them? How a really attractive person, if you don't like them, can become more and more ugly; whereas someone you might not have even have noticed... that you wouldn't look at more than once, if you love them, can become the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? All you want to do is be near them."

9) "What's wrong? You alright?"
"Her name's Sara Thomas."
"How?"
"Halley gave it to me as a wedding present."

10) "I'd ask you about love, you'd probably quote me a sonnet. But you've never looked at a woman and been totally vulnerable. Known someone that could level you with her eyes, feeling like God put an angel on earth just for you. Who could rescue you from the depths of hell. And you wouldn't know what it's like to be her angel, to have that love for her, be there forever, through anything, through cancer. And you wouldn't know about sleeping sitting up in the hospital room for two months, holding her hand, because the doctors could see in your eyes, that the terms "visiting hours" don't apply to you. You don't know about real loss, 'cause it only occurs when you've loved something more than you love yourself. And I doubt you've ever dared to love anybody that much."

*Bonus: "I wanna make you smile whenever you're sad / Carry you around when your arthritis is bad / All I wanna do is grow old with you. / I'll get your medicine when your tummy aches / build you a fire if the furnace breaks / Oh it could be so nice, growin old with you. / I'll miss you, kiss you, give you my coat when you are cold. / Need you, feed you, I'll even let you hold the remote control. / So let me do the dishes in the kitchen sink / Put you to bed when you've had too much to drink. / Oh I could be the man to grow old with you. / I wanna grow old with you."
